Following our successful move to Horspath Road we want to help the club achieve it's ambition to be the best of the best! We want to offer all our members and visitors aged 4-99 the best facilities and rugby experience.
To do this we need to raise funds to support further improvements to our already award winning home. This includes creating a new changing area for our referees - there's no game without them! Replacement of our environmentally unfriendly hot water system and importantly creating a new floodlit area so that we can offer more sporting opportunities, come night or day to to men, women and children.
We’ve set an ambitious target and have begun the process of applying for a range of grants that are available. The projects we’ve identified mean that we can stage the works as our fundraising progresses. Every pound will make a difference and we’ve already raised over £1,000. The link below if to our Go Fund Me Page:
We’d be really grateful if you’d share this with all your contacts and also support the social media campaign which will follow!
If people have ideas for further ways which we can help support the fundraising do let me know. This could be via a team doing a sponsored event, a cake sale or Tombola. We will support any idea that people are keen to take forward. If you’d like more information or to support our fundraising please do contact Jack Pooler: secretary@oxfordharlequins.org
We know that we are very lucky to have such an amazing group of players, volunteers and parents who already do so much for their club and look forward to working with you all to make Quins the best club in the county, region and country!
