New Forwards Coach at Oxford Quins: Jon Vermont We’re delighted to announce that Jon Vermont will be joining our coaching team for the 2020/21 season. Jon joins us from Wasps where he has worked as 1st team / Senior Analyst for the past 6 years. Jon has a strong playing record and brings a wealth of National league experience and a Premiership playing perspective with him. Jon was part of the Wasps team that made the Premiership final and European semi-final in 2016. “Having spoken to Stu, Pete and the other coaches, Oxford Harelquins are clearly a team who are working towards big things in the next couple of seasons. It’s exciting to see certain things that have been put in place to not only make the club a sustainable one but get the club into the national leagues where they belong. Hopefully my playing experience of the national leagues and experience of working in the premiership for the last 6 years can add some finer details to an already established coaching set up. I, aswell as all the players are eager to get back on the pitch and look forward to another successful season.’ - Jon Vermont “We’re incredibly lucky to have a player, coach & analyst of Jon’s calibre come to us at Quins. Better people make better clubs and that’s true of Jon, he buys in fully to what we’re trying to build here; we have a coaching team now that can map out and guide us to where we want to be.”- Stu Wells, Director of Rugby #rugby #oxford #coach #team #oxfordquinsvalues #belief #family #professionalism
